Inbound marketing can be an extremely powerful tool if done well. For this project, a web app was developed to help put out new landing pages and deliver content to subscribers. The app was built on a typical developer stack including PHP, MySQL, Javascript, HTML, and CSS. Foundation was used to provide a fully responsive experience and speed up development time. Coupled with repackaged content gleaned from other areas in the business and the use of video, there was an increase in new marketing sign ups by over 400%. That’s all new users that hadn’t previously received marketing offers from the business. The app required many skills including custom database development and session/cookie management. Overall, if you’re looking for a way to increase sales prospects inbound marketing is worth a shot.
